Six Weeks

 If I had to name this week it would be the week of worry. Nothing really earth shattering happened-my symptoms are about the same (not so bad really.) Waiting for my first appointment next week is just really getting to me. The books I ordered finally came so at least we have been able to read up on some things. That has helped quell my fears a bit but I know I will feel better after my appointment on Wednesday. Hopefully everything will be fine with baby and I can breath easy.

We are trying to get back to a state of normal after all the shake ups with our home renovation. After the basement changes, we have got to move all our crap back down there. We finished the exterior painting this week also; it just feels good to get these projects done so we can focus on what is to come.

Speaking of projects, we are making plans for our nursery. I want to go to Ikea when we are in Colorado in two weeks to get our nursery furniture. Then, when our family comes for the party on the 15th they can help us paint. It will be a lovely home for our new addition.

So far, having baby in the picture has definitely brought us closer. In the past week Mike has gone from husband to superhero. He cooked a few meals, helped me finish painting the house, spent hours cleaning in the basement, and has been unquestionably patient and supportive in all my emotional moments. Mike has gone above and beyond to help out and he is still working his full time job, but best of all he is still taking time to satisfy my increased demand for cuddle time :) I know he will take good care of baby and me.
